Good afternoon, everyone, just dropping in with another quick article to share. I tell you, the Gospel Coalition has had some good stuff on entertainment recently, and if anything, this post is a reminder as to why it’s so important to research books, especially before spending money on them. You can’t just pick up anything that looks interesting from a bookstore or library anymore. Especially in YA, anything secular is pretty much bound to have steam, if not spice, even among the Mormons. *Angry growling about the most recent Stormlight Archive book.* Pretty much all the YA I read these days is Christian-authored, because there’s just so much garbage out there. Seriously, it’s discouraging to walk around B&N, seeing cover after cover of gay couples or vampires or assassins.
Romantasy, in case you haven’t heard the term, is a rising genre which combines fantasy with romance — a lot of it.
Anyway, this was just a good read with recommendations for places to research books and a solid reminder of truth. Hope you enjoy, and have a lovely day!
