Welcome! I’m Kinsey! As a Christian and an aspiring author, I believe in writing clean, hopeful stories with a dash of humor. I’m a massive nerd who gets way too excited over old books and strange facts, and it probably goes without saying that I have an obsession penchant for reading. In my spare time, I also play the piano and accordion, and I love spending time with my friends and family.
I also believe that everything we do should be for the glory of God and that it should be our aim to discover and spread Truth — to shine like lights in a dark world. Here on my blog you’ll see posts about all sorts of things – from books I’ve been reading to social issues to writing – all in my aim to do just that, let my light shine. Wondering what ‘Estel Press’ is? It’s the LLC behind all my writing and platforms. ‘Estel’ is a Sindarin word (yes, I am that nerdy) meaning a hope or faith in something solid and unfailing. Leave it to Tolkien to invent a word that perfectly sums up our Christian trust.
